Drawing inspiration from the intricate patterns found in nature, architecture, and even bathroom floors, my art practice centers on creating bold, mixed-media geometric paintings. Each work begins with precise hard-edge masking techniques, producing clean lines and sharply defined shapes. I then integrate hand-sewn embroidery thread, adding texture, depth, and a subtle human element that contrasts with the rigidity of the paint. This combination of painting and stitching creates a dynamic interplay between precision and imperfection, and forges a captivating intersection between art and craft.
