Nalin Kamat

Nalin Kamat is a self taught Canadian artist based in Toronto. He started drawing at the age of 3, and professional pursued art starting in 2020. While honing his skills, Nalin discovered his love of Charcoal and pastel as a medium. He exhibited his work in a solo show for the first time in 2022, at the age of 13. Since then, Nalin has had his artwork exhibited across North America in various art galleries and international art fairs. His pieces are in private collections around the world.

He has exhibited his art in prestigious art fairs, such as Art on Paper NYC and Superfine Art Fair, with +100 galleries featuring top modern and contemporary art.

He has been interviewed and covered by numerous media outlets including The Art Newspaper International, Reader’s Digest, Hyperallergic, CBC, Toronto Star, Artsy, TLN TV and more.

Nalin’s art & materials are made from the wilderness; of the passage of time, of the ancient cycle of Re-growth, death and change. Transcendence; that which goes beyond.

Transcendent, a deep primordial interconnection between the ability to have consciousness of self and the ability to experience a world of objects. He harnesses the temporary and frangible method of application, to create a dynamic and stark reflection of Transcendence.
