Neil is a photographic artist currently working and living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He graduated from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 2023, and has since been actively pursuing (the) art (life). Neil has exhibited his photographic work across the province, and in 2024 he published his first art book titled "Beef Plates" with Special Characters publishing. He is also one of the founding members of the Halifax Art Book Fair (est. 2024)

Neil's approach to photography is a physical one. He works with heavy-bodied mechanical cameras, shooting film of various formats. Moments of touch and tension draw his eye, their physicality a reminder that the image being made is more (and less) than a recording of light. He is currently working on documenting regenerative farming within Nova Scotia, with hopes of closing the gap between producer and consumer.
