Hailing from the suburbs of Markham, Ontario, Riley's art journey began with his sister walking him through how to doodle little characters and scenes from his childhood media. His early interest in art got him accepted into the Arts Unionville Visual Arts program in 2021. Here, Riley explored many mediums and techniques such as clay, printmaking, and plaster, but decided to specialize in acrylics. In 2023, his paintings drew attention for their surreal, whimsical subjects amidst a vivid yellow glow, juxtaposed with dramatic Chiaroscuro. His work continues to explore himself and the world around him.
